Meet our team

Indira Alikalfić

Indira Alikalfic was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has been living in Sweden for 31 years. Out of that, she has been working as a private entrepreneur in the hospitality industry for 18 years. She acquired her entrepreneurial skills by working in two royal palaces, where for 17 years she was a royal delivery person and catering organizer of solemn ceremonies. She is the owner of the famous cafe Schweizer in the Old Town of Stockholm. He has behind him successful projects of design and arrangement of business and residential buildings. She started doing humanitarian work 14 years ago, founding the Vara Barn/Our Children Foundation. The Foundation's mission is to improve the living conditions and develop the skills of children without parental care and with developmental disabilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The foundation has five employees in BiH. Indira Alikalfic is the recipient of several awards and thanks for her professional and humanitarian commitment, of which the Silver Medal presented to her by the Swedish Crown Princess Victoria should be highlighted.

Elvira Ćemalović - Dilberović

Born in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she completed primary and secondary education. She lived in the Kingdom of Sweden for six years, where she studied health. PhD in linguistics, associate professor at Dzemal Bijedic University in Mostar. Wrote several international scientific and professional papers, as well as textbooks in the field of linguistics. Authorized trainer of Media Literacy, and licensed teacher of the Bosnian language for diplomats. Created, managed and organized several domestic and international projects, conferences and symposiums, among which the IPA project of international cooperation should be singled out, as well as the project of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights from Oslo, Norway, for which she was the representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina for five years. Worked as Minister of Education and Science in the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Served as ambassador of BiH in the Kingdom of Sweden, where she initiated and designed the establishment of the first association of BiH Businessmen in the Kingdom of Sweden. She is the President of the Board of Directors of the United World College UWC in Mostar.
